What Makes You UNIQUE Makes You Stronger (As a Company)
One of the biggest reasons businesses do not grow is simple: they lack the awareness and ability to articulate what makes them unique.
Unique is an interesting word in business.
For many the first thing that comes up is that it is a pure messaging exercise.
Many CEO's initial inclination to this problem is to put some "creative people" on it, so they can put a marketing spin on what we do and call it a day.
But that's just it. That is the problem at its root.
What makes you unique is more than messaging.
What makes you unique is how you transform the lives of the people you serve, differently than anyone else.
That perspective comes with experience, conviction, passion and results.
Messaging is not the answer alone.
Positioning is always the answer.
To understand how to grow, you need to be intentional on how you want to be seen in the market. Your company needs to build off of its strengths, to build off of its vision, to build off of its results.
You must focus being clear on the following elements internally first, before even considering tweaking your messaging, sales copy, etc.
1. Who you are?
2. What you do best?
3. Who do you do it best for, and
4. How you do it differently and better.
