Clients ask me all the time, "what is one of the best strategies to grow revenue?”

I always ask them first about their strategies to upsell to their current and previous customer base.

If someone has purchased from you once and you have proven to them that your company has added value and given them the result(s) they were looking for, what offer do you have for them next?

How are you nurturing them to the next sale?

If you are in the services business, and don't have anything else to sell, ask them about their current pain points and determine your next viable offer from those insights.

In general, it is always a strong strategy to develop your next product /service that you have already validated with your target client’s wants vs needs.

I can't tell you how many entrepreneurs leave so much revenue on the table because they would rather focus on their next client and forget to nurture the ones they already have!

Bottomline: The probability of selling to an existing customer is 60-70%. The probability of selling to a new prospect is 5-20%.
